While in the control room, the producer stays in communication with the studio anchors and remote anchors through an Interruptible feedback (IFB) system to give them standby cues. Craig Vagell, Cabrini Alumnus, who is the day of air operations manager at ABC studios also got to take advantage of this great opportunity at the WABC studio. The work of a multimedia journalist. Today, I finally got added into the system and also got my ID card made. This was certainly a relief for me because now I can actually go where I am needed without having to rely on someone else to key me in certain sections of the building. The one problem I ran into was that I didn’t have photoshop on my computer. This problem was resolved by me sending the pictures to my supervisor to be cut out. I learned a lot and had fun at the same time. I was able to improve my writing skills, learn video and graphic design and also learn some photoshop. I am however, glad that this year is over.
