Although I have been away over three months, being back home it almost feels like I never left! Rome the second time was just as impressive as the first. We arrived on the afternoon of the 13. On a more cheery note, we ventured out from the East of England over to the West on a trip to Bath and Stonehenge this weekend. The drive from Cambridge to Bath is reasonably long, but the countryside is beautiful and taking naps is never a bad thing. I actually enjoy the obligatory hours of introspection, it is very good for sorting things out and making plans! Getting is some good hospital time as well.

Nepal, Malta, UK and Europe. Cambridge Week 2 – and Wimbledon! Bonny Scotland →. July 11, 2013. I kicked off this week (Week 3 already! With a day trip down to London. I booked for the cheapest trains and got the return journey for 15 pounds (quite pleasing given my last trip cost me 40 pounds return! We got lunch in a restaurant by the lake, which was absolutely delicious but was so hot inside they are obviously very unprepared for hot weather! And I got myself a nice forward facing seat with a table).

It was pretty tricky to get good photos, but enjoying the view was just amazing. I am definitely retuning to Southern France at some stage! We finished off our day with a group dinner (onion tart, gnocchi with pesto and pannacotta) before heading back to the hotel to pack and sleep in preparation for our journey to Italia tomo...
