A few times when I sent emails at work, the recipient did not reply to all my questions or may have given me less information that I asked for. This also sometimes happens in personal emails. Noncompliance to emails is also an issue. Therefore, here are points from HBR's management tip that might help. 1 One idea per paragraph. Start a new paragraph for every new idea or request. 2 Put your point in the first sentence. Emails to the point.

Thursday, March 18, 2010. There was a huge storm system that passed through the region last weekend, which blew down a neighbor's tree and knocked out the power to the entire neighborhood. We were without power from Saturday night (around 8 PM) until Wednesday morning (around 11 AM) - that's a good 87 hours or so without electricity! Yes, I know there have been worse power outage situations, but this is the first time I've experienced one for an extended period of time. Here's a pic of the aftermath:.

Sunday, February 10, 2013. Google Hangout for a Snow'd-in RE Class. RE teacher leading the lesson via Google Hangout. We had a pretty good turnout, as most of the students were able to attend and participate, whether it be that the students interacted via audio/video or just via chat. Later, we had some fun with Google Effects and other games (i.e., Scoot and Doodle).
