The Journey to Skinneyville. Tuesday, December 2, 2008. After a very disturbing visit to my now ex-pshychiatrist a few months ago, I decided to start weening myself off of my anti-depressants. I started taking them during a really tough part of my life and have recovered from that and found great happiness internally. And my now ex-pshychiatrist said he didn't know why I was taking them. Well ladies and gentlemen, after a long and slow process, I am completely free of my anti-depressants!

The Journey to Skinneyville. Thursday, March 5, 2009. The Wing Dome = OWNED! Occassionally we go out with friends to the Wing Dome. It is an event we both look forward too and only get to see these friends at this event. The only problem I have with the Wing Dome is that it's not, let's just say they don't pride themselves on serving fresh and healthy food. They pride themselves on serving fried drumsticks that are meant to be dunked in a vat of blue cheese dressing. Consider the Wing Dome OWNED!

I have been consumed and overwhelmed emotionally over the past 4 weeks. Unbeknownst to mother nature and her plan I had booked my ticket a month before for my visit. I was to fly out to Kansas City the Wednesday after the storm. Perfect timing right? The hospital was badly damaged, my mom's car was a loss, and her home was not safe to live in-but she is ok :).
