Sunday, August 25, 2013. From Montezuma Road to Manizales to the Paramo. Driving to Manizales in the dark was beautiful. Manizales at night. We stayed in a very nice hotel with hot water for showers. The Andean duck at the Paramo. It was getting cold here. My jacket was in my car at the Houston airport. But I put on a tshirt, shirt and rain jacket. Friday, June 25, 2010. Final Stop Villa Lapas Costa Rica. Our final stop in Costa Rica was an all inclusive resort called Villa Lapas. It was on the Pacific side of Costa Rica. And most importantly it had air conditioning! The boys loved the fact that the bar tab was included and they took advantage of it. Here is a frog found on the property. Sunday, December 1, 2013. When I was 10 years old, my family moved from Hampton, Virginia to Kelsterbach Germany. At that time it was West Germany. When we moved, we drove to New York City and boarded RMS Queen Elizabeth. They loaded up our car on the ship too. We sailed to LeHarve, France where the family and the car got off the boat, and off we drove to our new home. This was a magical time. I have pictures at the bottom.
