Jesus Smells Like Maple Syrup. Saturday, January 26, 2013. I drove my motorbike through the intersection when the light turned green. The woman in front of me, on a pink Vesper, wobbled over in front of me. I silently cursed her for almost cutting me off. She was in her own little world. She stayed in front of me as we passed the bus station, the noodle stall, and the gas station. I began to notice the dipping of her head; down quickly and then back up again. I could her face in her rear view mirrors.
