All posts by Ellen. I live in Atlanta, Georgia, and, after raising 2 wonderful children, now fill my time with all things sewing related. I've recently become addicted to the acquisition of vintage sewing patterns, and am selling these patterns in my etsy shop, Down the Street Creations (downthestreet.etsy.com). September 15, 2014. September 15, 2014. Last Friday, I took an art class at Spruill Arts. The workshop was “moving from representational to abstract” which I took to mean it would be more of changing your mental mindset. It was that in theory, but in practice, it was more of how to paint real things in an abstract manner, and not outright abstract. September 11, 2014. This week is National Suicide Prevention Week. Though, really the goal is to prevent suicide every week, every day. Yesterday, was World Suicide Prevention Day, and around the world, people held candlelight vigils, honoring their loved ones who died by suicide. So when I saw this free minion pattern. That someone pinned, I instantly repinned! But I didn't just repin! I actually knitted, and made one for Laura's birthday that was Monday, the 9th. I made his goggles removable, and one change was to make the eyes out of felt with painted eyes instead of knitting them. She named him Frank.

She must have made another sort of sandwiches because at the time my little sister would eat neither of those things, not even on white bread, which we never had at home, with the crusts cut off.
