Children's Books: A Silly Retelling of Rapunzel
http://ellesaur-cb.blogspot.com/2008/04/blog-post.html
A Silly Retelling of Rapunzel. The queen sits down to dinner. The witch cast a spell on the cabbage. The servant was too busy tugging at the carrot to notice. Rapunzel had to knit sweaters in the tower each day. I'm here to rescue a princess from a terrible witch. Display at MICA Commencement Art Show.

Ellesaur Arts: Baltimore Comic Con, Day 2
http://ellesaur.blogspot.com/2014/09/baltimore-comic-con-day-2.html
This here is the eclectic blog of artist/illustrator Ellen Stedfeld. For a glimpse into my kooky mind and to see some of the many things I do. You may find it helpful to note that this originated in 2008 as a place to display galleries of my artwork (still temporarily viewable at right) but has gradually taken on a more blog-like form, and my current objective - now in the midst of 2014 and entering 2015 - is to make it be so! Or my next event. My new and improving website is ellesaurarts.com.

Design: Transit Poster
http://ellesaur-dn.blogspot.com/2012/02/transit-poster.html
Baltimore schoolkids wrote poems, illustrated by students from our college. Painting was based on my photo from a moving car at night. This was one of the images chosen to become an actual MTA poster.

Comics/Cartoons: Evil or Good
http://ellesaur-comics.blogspot.com/2013/09/evil-or-good.html
One of my favorite characters I created way back. when Daskian shows up mysteriously, the other characters (along with the reader) are unsure of his motives and true nature. Is he as innocent and friendly as he seems, or is all a front to cloak his sinister plans? Her certainly has secrets, but that could just be his tragic past hiding beneath a cheerful exterior. You'll just have to read the book. once I've revived it from the faded sketches of my high school days. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Design: Music Poster
http://ellesaur-dn.blogspot.com/2012/02/music-poster.html
Done for a local club near my college in Baltimore, which frequently hosted various music performances. Since it was an illustration class, I used the painted design, but experimented with several options.
