About The Ellesmere A&P Association. Formed in 1869 the Ellesmere Agricultural and Pastoral Association owns their showground which is situated on the outskirts of the Leeston township, just 30 minutes south west of Christchurch. The Association is run by a committee of up to 30 elected members all of whom give their time freely and generously.
