We are the sound. Wednesday, 15 June 2016. What 2016 has brought. The last post is one from three years ago, one I didn't publish for whatever reason. Three years were wrapped up in that confusion. That pain. That uncertainty of the future. That longing to give up and die. Three years that I thought could be forever but have seemed to come to an end. There is an end! This year I've continued seeing an amazing counsellor and been in an environment that makes it so much easier for me to change and grow.

We are the sound. Saturday, 29 March 2014. So many decisions to make. I don't want to choose anything right now. I want to fall asleep and stay that way. I'm not ready to decide. I know God has a good plan for my life, but at some stage I must step out in faith into something unknown and scary and uncomfortable. I don't want to. And yes God can and will redeem my silly mistakes but I want to waste as little time as possible. I think I'm getting to a stage where I just want to (maybe. If not now, when?

We are the sound. Thursday, 25 December 2014. Thoughts on Christmas Morning. Waking up this morning is no where near as exciting and anticipated as when I was little. I remember last year there were similar empty feelings - feelings of not deserving Christmas celebrations and gifts because I felt that my year had not been fruitful or worthwhile. that I had not put in enough effort to somehow have now 'earned' gifts from people. We are the sound. Friday, 13 December 2013. Truly, the more you know, the more you realize you don't know. Suddenly you're facing issues you did not even realize would be issues. 2013 has been a year of learning, a year of realizing how much I don't know, and a year of issues. There's a lot I wish I never learnt, a lot I wish I never had to realize I don't know, and a lot of issues that knocked me down and left me thinking I would not get up again. He was here as I over thought a good too many thoughts.
