November 28, 2008. I Should Not Have Home Schooled Her. My daughter loves to cook. Unfortunately for her I have never cooked a Thanksgiving turkey. My mom always cooks the turkey. Keri decided that she would cook a Thanksgiving turkey for all of her friends and have a traditional Thanksgiving meal. So her and her best friend started on their turkey cooking agenda. With the turkey broth and cornbread. It's the best I've ever had. My Mom's dressing. But wait, What's this? It was the neck of the Turkey!

February 12, 2009. Catch Donna.the birth supply, that is! Donna and I have done many many births together. Many different places.big ones, small ones, inside, outside. The smallest place I remember birthing a baby was at the Renaissance. Fair http:/ www.texrenfest.com/themedweekends.html. In Fort Worth, There was a couple who worked there, living in a motor home in the park. You know the kind you pull behind your car? The husband though I won't forget! Not our typical clientele. Later Donna and I laughed...

Nest (n.) : a snug retreat or refuge; resting place; HOME. One year ago today, sweet Emma Cynthia was born. In the moments after her birth, I remember looking into her sweet face, not knowing exactly what her future would hold, and just simply loving her. My heart was in my throat at the possibility that everything was not as it should be, but in that moment, when she took her first breaths and squeaked her first cries, it didn’t matter. There was just love. I watch Mason play peek-a-boo with her, his no...

The Chronicles of our little family as we journey through life, striving to live simply and as God intended. Monday, December 20, 2010. What Christmas means to me. I hope this Monday before Christmas finds you all wrapped up in Holiday cheer and anticipation of the fun ahead. I've thought lots about Christmas this year because we are in a season of life that everything is being redefined in our lives. I've never had a toddler before and been pregnant! That is just our immediate family and Grandparents!

Monday, November 15, 2010. Well, since my last post, over 2 1/2 months ago, I have been one busy momma. In fact, I haven't even had time to read my favorite blogs till now, let alone post something of my own. But, since I am taking a sick day, because I'm sick again, I thought I would update the world on my squirly girls. This fall has been so full. Full of fun with friends, schooling, and field trips. We have four in school this year and that keeps me hopping. They are like two little rolly pollies....
