The "more personal" bio. It spiraled from there. "What if that happened? And what if." Knowing that I would never find a book to contain all these, I decided to give it a shot myself. It took me by surprise how much I enjoyed writing. It also took me by surprise how much others enjoyed reading it. Looking back at that particular manuscript (which will never be published without being COMPLETELY re-written), I can see a definite shift in the writing at the point I began to take it more seriously.
