http://glossaryking.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Friday, 29 June 2012. We are staying at the De Bretts Hotel. So that will be really nice. The legs I'm sure will appreciate a soak in the hot pools after the race. Will be away for a few days with no computer access so will report back next week hopefully with some stories, photos and some good news! Thursday, 28 June 2012. My song Live Your Dreams may have been included in a post previously but I feel it is timely to include it now. Let your beauty be seen.clear waters up-stream. Do you believe it is im...

I looked at that hotel with the hot springs. WOW. Really nice must be an example of New Zealand understatement! 29 June 2012 at 09:55. Good luck with your race! 29 June 2012 at 10:58.

All About People: Few of us are perfect, and we don't need to be!
http://georgesavva.blogspot.com/2012/10/few-of-us-are-perfect-and-we-dont-need.html
Sunday, 21 October 2012. Few of us are perfect, and we don't need to be! On Sunday, I had a terrific realisation. I felt like chillin' out - so I did. At the end of the day, curiously, I felt absolutely no guilt about that! There was a time when I could not conceive of relaxing because that was an unmitigated waste of time and life is so short! The sad part of that whole story was that I really did believe it; and it cost me! I think that part of the learning process, and the 'improving process' - is hav...

The world according to Paul: Whew, what a relief!
http://glossaryking.blogspot.com/2011/10/whew-what-relief.html
Saturday, 8 October 2011. Whew, what a relief! The end of term! Had an enjoyable sociable wind down after school with the other teachers. Feel quite drained from the hectic last few weeks with production. All classes had to produce a panel that reflected who we are, where we're going and what school means to us. We decided on a space theme as we travel on our voyage to the stars. On the way we travel past the planets of learning that help us reach our destination. I really like the panel! Although my leg...

All About People
http://georgesavva.blogspot.com/2012/02/i-called-my-friend-and-colleague.html
Wednesday, 1 February 2012. I called my friend and colleague Marianne today. I exclaimed - "I do beg your pardon: Remind me - did I say I'd call you today, or did you say you'd call me? I said I'd call you" she replied - "and I apologise that I haven't done so yet! I was about to say "Hey, no worries, you've probably been busy! When she interjected and said "a good friend of mine passed away today! She was only 49"; "Cancer" she went on in her broken, considered way. I thought, "She was a baby! Blow me o...

The world according to Paul: Let the Holiday begin
http://glossaryking.blogspot.com/2012/06/let-holiday-begin.html
Friday, 1 June 2012. Let the Holiday begin. Arrived in Germany on a Wednesday. My flight landed in Frankfurt and from there I needed to take the Ice Train to Buhl. The precision of the German trains is exemplary as they run like clock work and seats are allocated and checked by guards that everyone is in the right place at the right time. Unfortunately on arrival my room wasn't yet ready so I thought the next best thing was to sample the local German beer while I waited. 1 June 2012 at 07:58. It looks be...

Pat's Ramblings: Hey, Hey, Hydrangias
http://lloydsgirl.blogspot.com/2015/05/hey-hey-hydrangias.html
Sunday, May 31, 2015. Hey, Hey, Hydrangias. One of the must-see attractions for anyone visiting or living in Edmonton, Alberta, is the Muttart Conservatory. Four glass pyramids in the river valley house amazing displays of plants from around the world. Photo and following text is copied from the Muttart Conservatory website. About a month ago my friend Mickey and I visited the Muttart again. The fourth pyramid was featuring a Love in Paris theme and was filled with hundreds of hydrangeas of every col...

The world according to Paul: May 2012
http://glossaryking.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, 31 May 2012. Spent a thoroughly enjoyable 24 hours with my buddy friend, John. At his patch in West Sussex! I was somewhat apprehensive but excited about getting in contact as meeting people through the internet can be a risky business. To my great surprise John was quite the host and made me feel extremely comfortable. Especially since he generously let me have his bed. I got to share a lager with Tricia and met his extremely handsome son, George. The following day John kindly took a 5 minute ...
