Wednesday, June 5, 2013. The beginning of the end. Today was Matt's last day of school at Timothy.ever. It seems weird to say it. This last day marks the beginning of the end of our time here in the western suburbs, and with it will come a whole lot of transition. I'm not one to like final good-byes, so hopefully starting the process now will help me out. Summer also means that I'm done babysitting. No more tshirt batman capes and masks. Tuesday, October 22, 2013. Our first time at pumpkinland. Lilia wanted to touch all of the pumpkins in the patch :). But she wasn't so sure about touching the animals. This is how tall I am this year! Super excited about being able to play with her new friend, Joshua, for 2 days! A happy minion halloween. The pantry is one of Lilia's favorite places to be in the house. Right about now she knows that she shouldn't be standing on the first shelf and is trying to scoot into the corner.

The intersection was flooded at least 1/2 a block going both ways. Two cars were stuck there already at 6:00 am, at least over their headlights at the worst point. Lilia and I also made a trip up to Michigan to see some family and meet cousin Sarah's son Luke the weekend before Thanksgiving. She loved playing with Grandma Slenk! Lilia is 3 months old today, and she decided to celebrate by showing us a new trick.she rolled from her back to stomach yesterday! It took her a while to get to this point, so we'll have to keep practicing to get better at it.
