This past weekend was iolani school's fair. they sell a variety of reasonably priced produce. i bought portabella mushrooms, chinese peas, asparagus, and clementines all for just $11. good deal! Here's what i did. 1 prep, prep, prep.fried egg, corn, peas, onion, asparagus, snap peas, and spam. Also, using olive oil makes me feel less guilty :). Add flavor - i use oyster sauce and shoyu. This month i needed to share a "nice and new" at our leadership meeting at school. basically every month someone on the board takes a few minutes at the beginning of the meeting to share something nice and new that they've discovered. usually when it's my turn i try to incorporate food because who doesn't love food at a meeting? Here's my try at a sweet and salty treat. 1 lay out pretzel twists and top with a kiss.
