Wednesday, 26 March 2014. We have been working on our numeracy target this afternoon solving divisions. Look at how we use a number line to work them out. This is what you need to do:. 1 Start from 0 on a number line. 2 Make jumps along the number line in the amount you are diving by (remember to write each number underneath the line to show which number you are on). 3 Finally count how many jumps you did to get to the larger number, this is your answer.
