Archive for January, 2009. January 18, 2009. One of my new friends, Jake, is an amazing musician, plays at the church band and he even writes his own music. Another new friend, John, has started playing guitar again and has a lot of talent as well. He can just hear the song and figure out the cords. Thursday on John’s birthday, Jake had his guitar at my place and John led us in a few songs. It was a blast! I couldn’t ask for a better afternoon! Then we all can jam together! My favorite Christmas story.

Archive for July, 2009. July 11, 2009. I will soon be flying into Cedar Rapids airport for my vacation in Iowa/ Illinois (July 21-28). One of my friends from Peoria is getting married last weekend in July. I have it all planned out and my poor mom is not to happy with me. Last summer, I visited Iowa during August expecting the hot humid summers but to my great surprise it was in the low 80’s most of my time in the Midwest. Maybe I will luck out again? I don’t know how I will handle the 30 degree change.

I have gotten use to using facebook to seeing how everyone is doing, but sometimes, I don’t feel like sharing all that much on facebook.
