Sat, Jan. 29th, 2011, 05:24 pm. I've been thinking lately about the chemicals used in processed food. Not to vilify them, but why can't we buy them? Lately I considered making my own Gatorade. What separates it from lemon lime Kool-aid? It says so on the bottle. But what are the electrolytes in Gatorade? Citric acid, salt, sodium citrate, potassium phosphate, calcium silicate.
