You don’t have to be horse experienced to have fun at the ranch as a volunteer. All the horses need TLC and we depend on volunteers for support with animals and events in order to best serve our participants and the community. EMAIL US FOR VOLUNTEER SCHEDULE. RANCH SKILLS for GROUPS. Human-animal interaction curriculum of activities for youth and young adults challenged with special needs. The program takes place at the ranch and offers both structure and freedom to explore. Participants connect with horses to experience and learn boundaries, communication skills, non-verbal cues, expand body and spatial awareness, reduce fear and anxiety, and build confidence to connect to others.
