Friday, May 25, 2007. A classic, easy recipe in which you can add your favourite vegetables. 2 tablespoons corn starch. 4 cups cooked vegetables. 1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs. 1 tablespoon melted margarine. In small saucepan melt the 4 Tbsp. margarine over low heat. Stir in corn starch, salt and pepper until smooth. Remove from the heat. Gradually stir in the milk until smooth. Bring to boil over a medium heat, stirring constantly, and boil for 1 minute. Place into a large casserole dish.

Monday, May 21, 2007. A Classic Waldorf Salad. 5 whole organic apples, chopped, unpeeled. 2 1/2 stems chopped celery. 1 1/4 cup chopped pecans, walnuts or cashews. 1/2 cup Soy Mayonnaise. Combine the apples, nuts, celery and mayonnaise. Toss gently to coat, and leave in the fridge for 1 to 2 hours. Spoon the salad into a serving bowl (lettuce-lined) .
