And if our God is for us. Friday, August 17, 2012. PCBC Team in Guate. At the beginning of August, the PCBC team came with Buckner to Guate! A trip more than a year in planning. It was so great to welcome members of my church to this beautiful country! I knew about half of the group already, and I made some new friends quickly. And put a hand on their shoulder. By about the fourth bed, I heard a tiny echo from below "Hola lindo! Two mornings we worked with HELPS International. Constructing the Onil stove.

And if our God is for us: March 2012

And if our God is for us. Thursday, March 22, 2012. John and Kay: Passport to Latin America. At the beginning of March, I had the pleasure of hosting my parents in Guate for the first time! They arrived on an evening flight and my good friend Berta accompanied me to the airport to pick them up. For those who know my parents, the idea of John and Kay heading to Guatemala for a week is pretty funny. I'm thinking some of my dad's co-workers didn't believe him. But it was true! We had a wonderful time walkin...

http://ethreadgill.blogspot.com/2012/07/reality-check.html
And if our God is for us. Sunday, July 1, 2012. Please pray for comfort, strength, and provision for Ana's family, and for encouragement for all of those doing the Lord's work here in Guatemala and around the world. Estrella, Pamela, and Ana. A psalm of David. Is my shepherd,. He makes me lie down in green pastures,. He leads me beside quiet waters,. He refreshes my soul. Along the right paths. For his name’s sake. Even though I walk. Through the darkest valley,. I will fear no evil,. For you are with me;.

And if our God is for us: September 2011
http://ethreadgill.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
And if our God is for us. Tuesday, September 27, 2011. In 2 weeks I am moving to Guatemala City to live for 10 months. That's strange to say. I've been 8 times before, twice for two months in the summer. But this time is different - I've quit my job(s), packed up my apartment and put my things in storage, and I have an apartment and a car waiting for me in the San Cristobal area of Guatemala City. I am serving with CAM International. Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? The p...

And if our God is for us: February 2012
http://ethreadgill.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
And if our God is for us. Sunday, February 19, 2012. It is run daily by 3 staff members - Patricia, the director, Karen, her assistant, and Christian, the doctor. They have been so kind and helpful since I started. I have 6 classes each day - which has thoroughly reinforced that I was not cut out to be a 'real' teacher. I really don't know how you all do it - repeating the same information over and over to various groups of kids who may or may not be paying attention. I get so tired! Ana, Estrella, Sharon.
