Sunday, November 10, 2013. Over-Sized Four/Eight Grid Sampler Blocks. Fabric: Shelburne Falls by Denyse Schmidt. I started working on a new sampler quilt. The blocks are based on blocks from Judy Hopkin's 501 Rotary-Cut Quilt Blocks. So this is the first block, X-Quartet. I'm using Denyse Schmidt's Shelburne Falls. Friday, December 19, 2014. Just a plain old hat. After I finished knitting up the Skull Isle Hat. My oldest boy requested a hat, too. He was very specific in what he wanted, a black hat with a double layered brim to keep his ears warm. I asked him if he wanted stripes, or colors, or cables.but no, just a plain old black hat. Despite its plainness, the hat was pretty fun and easy to knit up - the perfect project for multiple episodes of Broadchurch. I think it could easily made into a stripey hat. Round 2...

The Dutchman's Puzzle has always had a certain appeal for me, but I haven't had the opportunity to make one up until now. I was fooled by its simple, clean lines. Neulomuksissa liehutunika batikista on ollut valmiina ja ootellut kokoamista muutaman kuukauden.köh.Alpakka takki on viimemetreillä, nappilistaa väännän aina kun jaksan:D. Myös yksi huivi tuli tehtyä, kevätpäiväntasausplaah-huivi, oli muuten yllättävän mukavaa neuloa. Itellekkin voisi ehkä tehdä yksvärisen hmm. Leikin myös parturi-kampaajaa ja leikkasin koiran turkin.
