In 1982 I added an Italian Greyhound and a German Shorthaired Pointer. The IG proved to be one of a kind. The Shorthair got me hooked on a new breed and I had not been without a GSP until I lost Hailey this past September. The German Shorthaired Pointers. The IG and the Brittany. Last of the raccoons? Oh please, let this be the last of the raccoons! 160; Last night the neighbor dogs barked ALL NIGHT! 160; When I went into the bathroom this morning, I saw why. It turns out that three coons were hanging on the side of my house. Luckily, a trapper was not far from my house. He managed to get a noose on each of them and he will relocate them. I couldn't get the picture of all three of them hanging on the bathroom window screen, but you can see two in this image. G S P Standard.

The last of the Girls. Today I attended the funeral of Stella Lechner Montgomery. 160; Stella was the last of the Monday night Girls Night Out crowd. My mother, Stella, Rosemary Skiles, Mary Margaret Anderson and Clyta Davis used to get together on Monday nights. I can’t remember for sure, but I think it was once per month. It is sodded and looks nearly ready. The photo was taken from Razorback Road. I didnt take a picture from the South side. But the parking area is under the practice field. It appears to be just a one level parking area. You can see the Walker Pavilion just North of the new field. The scoreboard in the background is at John McDonnell field. Yes, I am in Omaha! Go Hogs, beat the Gamecocks! CWS: General Admission High Jinks. This street is normally full of two rows of buses following a game. Not tonight.

Monday, January 5, 2015. I am feeling the pinch at my heart while typing down whatever i am feeling right now. The boy is leaving for whatever he needs to do tomorrow. El Wingman
El wingman you ask? Well it's a fairly brief story. Years ago when I was a kid there used to be a television program on Nickelodeon called You Can't Do That On Television. And my favorite character on this show was called Alasdair Gillis. Needless to say all the Spanish speakers on the channel decided to shorten it from Alasdair to alas. Which in Spanish means wings. Eventually, when I switched to an English speaking channel I opted to change it from Alasdair to el wingman. Little Red Riding Hood.
