Sunday, May 3, 2009. Espen's First Trip to the Zoo. We took Espen to the Zoo yesterday for the first time. He had a great time looking at all of the animals. There was a lot of pointing and waving at different animals. We rode the train all around the zoo and went to the children's zoo. We even had a picnic lunch. It was a LOT of fun! Tuesday, March 17, 2009. Happy St. Pat's! Happy St. Patrick's Day from our reluctant leprechaun. :). The Good Old Hockey Game! Well, Espen went to his first hockey game last night, and the Blues brought home a great win! We even got free Blizzards! Espen really seemed to enjoy all of the excitement. He even clapped and cheered with the crowd. TOO CUTE! Here are some pictures from his first experience with hockey. GO BLUES! Espen was a little wary of the crowds at first, but he warmed up pretty quickly.

Ok, so I know that I haven't posted in like 6 months and that I am a horrible blogger-type-person, but let's just all pretend that I have been faithfully keeping up with this and that all is good. Monday, December 15, 2008. We took Espen to get his picture with Santa and we weren't sure what to expect, but he loved the big guy! The Santa at the mall looked a little strange, but Espen seemed to enjoy himself and looked for all the world just like a little elf! Wednesday, December 3, 2008. Espen's starting the Christmas season early! And for those that are curious, Espen had a little bit of turkey (which he wasn't very interested in), mashed potatoes, and sweet potatoes from the big people table.
