American Chili Con Carne with a Twist. 1 pound of ground beef. 1 large onion, chopped. 2 cloves of garlic, minced. 1 TBS chili powder. Salt pepper to taste. 1 tsp dried oregano leaves. Until Morocco: Pecan Pie

Our quest to move to my husband's land of birth and our life until then. Sunday, January 09, 2011. This time of year is great for baking. The house is filled with the aroma of a delightful dish. Would you believe that just recently I have learned how to make a pecan pie? 1 cup of light corn syrup. 1 cup of sugar. 2 TBS butter, melted. 1 tsp vanilla extract. 1 1 2 cups pecans. 1 unbaked 9 inch deep dish pie crust.
