She had battled it for a long time. This is a woman who came to visit me in Palo Alto a day or two after she had brain surgery at Stanford…and she brought ME a gift that day! We will keep you posted! After talking to MD Anderson and some soul searching, we decided on the BRAF MEK study because we needed to address my not inconsequential tumor load and we're weren't sure we could wait the 4-6 months for an immunological drug like anti-PD1 to take effect.
