Emanuel Kenya Mission Trip 2015. Tuesday, October 20, 2015. We drove to Kisumu for a church service at the ELCK ( Evangelical Lutheran Church of Kenya)Kisumu Cathedral. Pastor Stecker did both services. The first service was in English and he had an interpreter for the second service. The church does a neat closing to their service. They are not time sensitive because expression and fellowship are a large part of this culture. As each one leaves, they shake the hand of every member who left before them.

Emanuel Kenya Mission Trip 2015. Thursday, October 8, 2015. Only 4 days left until we leave for Africa! This team has been busy! The soccer campaign thru One World Futbol has been very successful so far. It began at the Emanuel Lutheran Food Bank Golf outing where we were there in the pouring rain! Despite the weather over $100 was raised. Central Lutheran's dress-down day raised $613.39! This translates into purchasing 17 indestructible soccer balls including shipping! Way to go Central! Das war wohl mein bisher größtes Projekt das ich allein bewältigen musste und wieder habe ich festgestellt das man in so einem Job wohl nie auslernt.
