主旨：反對「十二年國民基本教育課程綱要總綱(草案)」刪減高中數學必修與必選學分數 連署訴求： 國家教育研究院在專業不足的情況下草擬《十二年國民基本教育課綱總綱 (草案)》，將數學領域時數從現行3年的必修與必選24學分大幅刪減為2年的必修12學分。此舉將不僅強力衝擊大學端的教學，還會大大降低學生的競爭力。因此，中華民國數學會提出《十二年國民基本教育中數學課程的主張》，要求在十二年國民基本教育中，數學科維持現行必修及必選學分。成功大學理學院院長柯文峰發動校內連署，呼應數學會的主張，並在一星期內獲得300多位教師連署的熱烈迴響。我們進一步邀請關心這個議題的先進同仁共同支持連署，一起維護台灣下一代的競爭力，反對刪減高中數學必修必選學分數。我們主張： 1. 對理工醫農組的學生，現行高中數學必修與必選的課程內容已經沒有減少的空間，所以我們主張高中（10至12年級）必須維持現行部定必修（與必選）每週至少4學分（4堂課）之教學時數。
