Grace Hunter has been living lean for a long time. Trained on hardship in military schools and steeped in austerity while serving, she is well acquainted with hardship. The hardship that results when she chooses God over Country are not unfamiliar. Grace struggles with the personal guilt of a career soldier, but has found comfort and forgiveness in faith.
