Saturday, 16 May 2015. Brownie and Blondie Layer Bake. What could be better than brownies? It occurred to me that the answer might be "both". Together. They're similar enough recipes that I figured it should be fine to just chuck both mixtures into the same pan and bake them together. I made up two-thirds of a batch of chocolate brownie mix. There are so many simple pleasures to enjoy at this time of year- from a walk down towards the sea enjoying the changing colours of the sea against the abundance of blossom. The flowering of the sea kale. Views along the sea shore. Stopping at the local farm shops and buying good local food from the people who produce it. Driving along lanes edged with cow parsley. Enjoying watching our pets having fun. Down by the sea.

I found this letter I wrote home, the first time I took my daughter. On a long haul holiday back in 2010. She was seven months old. As this site is as much about therapy as it is about providing a record of the parenting journey, I figured I should post it. Yesterday I spent most of the day staring out to sea. I did the same yesterday. I plan to do the same tomorrow.
