Friday, September 30, 2011. Nathan has become very interested lately in letters and numbers. He loves to look at books and he can identify several different letters and numbers including O, S, T, 1, and 4. His favorite things to look for are "annapoots" a.k.a. exclamation points. We were reading an alphabet book the other day and Nathan saw a period at the end of a sentence. He said "Uh Oh annapoot". He was very concerned that the line from the exclamation point was missin. :). Kayla is 2 months old!

Saturday, March 31, 2012. This morning, Nathan had a great time taking a ride on Grandpa's school bus! Nathan loves cars, trucks, buses, etc. so this was a thrill for him (many shrieks of delight and excitement on the way there and when we arrived.). Nathan loves to search for stop signs as we are driving. It was great fun for him to find this on on the bus (with red lights too! Nathan helped Grandpa check the tires before we set off. Thursday, October 27, 2011. Our little Kayla is 3 months old! She is growing like a weed weighing in at 15 pounds, 4 ounces! Her big accomplishment this month is sleeping through the night! People tell us all the time how much she looks like Nathan. I got out some videos of Nathan at 3 months and its pretty crazy how much they look and sound alike. It will be fun to see if they continue to look like each other as they grow up. We'd love to have another one like our adorable, loveable Nathan! Nothing says...

Monday, February 20, 2012. Kayla is 7 months old! Our little Kayla is 7 months old! She is such a happy, smiley girl! Some highlights from this month:. Now that she has mastered rolling over from her back to her tummy, she does so immediately after laying her on the floor. Since she hasn't figured out how to roll back, she gets tired and starts fussing. :) I'm working on her learning to roll back the other way too! She is sitting up very well on her own and loves playing that way. Kayla is 7 months old!

Wednesday, June 20, 2012. I wrote this a few weeks ago, but never hit publish! I've been such a bad blogger lately. Nathan's 3rd birthday was a few weeks ago. I posted pictures on Facebook, but I haven't gotten around to updating the blog, so here goes. We had a fun party for Nathan on his birthday with lots of family and friends in attendance. We had yummy food, played outside in the yard, opened presents and enjoyed some good cake. Nathan had a blast! How old are you? Lots of fun new toys to play with.
