If you burn the morning’s steel cut oats thoroughly enough, you can still enjoy the burnt smell that evening. Incidentally, no one will notice if you make popcorn, since the burnt oat smell covers it up. A brown bag, post-school, pre-soccer lunch in the minivan pretty much guarantees that the new carseat no longer looks quite so new. She’s supposed to pick dandelions, right? That fancy, shiny new gate?

Just Another Day in Paradise. Tuesday, January 29, 2013. A lot of catch up to do! So I am ALMOST done going through the 40,000 pictures on my computer and uploading them to Shutterfly AND saving them on an external hard-drive! Once I do that, I will be able to delete them off my computer (with great irrational fear that I may lose them forever) and then upload the 500 pictures that have been sitting on my two cameras for almost 8 months!
