The endless laundry, the fact that I never seem to be on good terms with all my children at once, the way my days just seem full of changing diapers and cleaning something, the always missing portable phone. But sometimes, sometimes I look up and see the beauty. Whether it be the sun rays, or my children's faces - it is always there. God is always there.

Living. learning. hoping. trusting. loving. Friday, January 16, 2015. The twins are seven weeks old. Wow, even though I never forget that the first weeks go by so fast, it still shocks me HOW fast. One moment I am nursing my baby(ies) on their first day, next thing they are a month old.then before I know it. BAM! Times flies. It truly does. But there is no point in trying to keep up. If we rush the days, they become years. Someone tell my life. And our new normal has arrived. Other things i've said.

Living. learning. hoping. trusting. loving. Tuesday, November 22, 2011. A weekend of art. This past weekend the kids attended a stage production of Aladdin with their dad. I didn't go, staying back with the little ones, but it is still the main topic of conversation in our house 4 days later. Living. learning. hoping. trusting. loving. Thursday, June 28, 2012. 12 months in a year. 12 days of Christmas. 12 farm fresh eggs. 12 is a dozen gorgeous roses. 12 is a good number. We have done 12. Sunday was our anniversary. 12 is a funny one to celebrate. We have passed the BIG 10, but are not quite at the impressive 15.12 is, nontheless, worth celebrating. This year our plans were simple, but it was still a day to remember. After that we started the day with Mass outdoors! Are you keeping track?
