Tuesday, August 19, 2014. On Depression and Suicide. It had me believing that maybe what I had experienced in the past wasn't depression after all, maybe it was just a normal reaction to being in a bad relationship. Maybe my mental health has been perfectly intact all this time. Maybe it was the therapists and doctors who were lying to me, telling me I had this diagnosis, when I was really just unlucky in love. How nice for you. That you aren't clinically depressed. Links to this post. We kicked it off w...

Fine and Fair: November 2014
http://www.fineandfairblog.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 11, 2014. I can barely bring myself to type the words. Your love for your family is evident. You enjoy introducing us all to everyone we meet, including servers at restaurants and random strangers on the street. You believe that your daddy can fix anything and that your mama is beautiful. We love weekend mornings when you come and snuggle with us and tell us about your dreams. You're a bold and bright child; you can take command of a room instantly, and it's not unusual for people to fi...

http://www.fineandfairblog.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 19, 2015. Recently, I participated in a "Tummy Tuesday" theme in a Facebook group focused on debunking diet myths and fostering love for the bodies we're in. I was hesitant to start snapping photos of my least-loved body part, but in the interest of practicing what I preach, I did it anyway. I was sure that I was going to hate the results, but an amazing thing happened. I saw the photo and thought.that's kind of a beautiful belly, actually. Take a second to go look at her photo. It...

Monday, February 16, 2015. Mason Jar Salad with Dried Cranberry, Walnuts, and Feta. We all know I love salads in jars. For their ease and convenience. If you're doing the fix, note that this salad contains 2 Blue Containers, so you can either leave out one of those ingredients or skip a blue container on another day. It all evens out, so eat up and enjoy! Layer your salad from the bottom up:. Keep separate from jar:. How Pavl...

Wednesday, September 24, 2014. On Breastfeeding and Feminism. I kind of can't believe that I haven't already written about this, but alas, when The Boob Geek. Who you should definitely like on facebook. If you're at all into breastfeeding and/or science) asked me if I'd written anything on Breast feeding as a Feminist issue, I realized that I had not. She went on to pay me the highest compliment a feminist can receive, which is to be called a "real feminist," so here we are. So, like, none of that means ...
