Friday, March 28, 2014. Battery Monitor using Arduino Uno. Need a voltage divider circuit. Using a cr2032 as an example : rated @ 3.0 Volts. Since vout = vin * (R2/ (R1 R2). I want to make sure my current is low so that I don't fry the Arduino. So, I chose 100uA, 3V / 100uA = 30K Ω. R1 R2 = Rtotal = 30K Ω. Since the Arduino input can handle less than 5V, I've chosen 1.5V. R2 = ( Vout/Vin) * Rtotal) = ( 1.5V/3V) * 30K. Rtotal-R2 =R1, 30K. Vout = 1.5V. However, I don't have 15K. Ω 22K) ) * 3V) = 2.043V.
