This Christmas was a fun and exciting time. We were blessed by the love and generosity of our friends and neighbors. It truly felt like the Christmas season and was magical. I took Michael to retrace the steps of our first date which was actually in November and there were a few things we missed, like going to see "Crazy for You" starring Matthew Shelton. The basics were all there though. I even saw one of my Boys and Girls Club kids on the Trax train to downtown on her way to the monster truck rally.

For a couple days in February Mic and I attended a science fiction writing conference at BYU. I have long desired to put the stories that spill out of my head on paper. I have no lack of subject matter, but I lack the skill to make them interesting. Mic and I enjoyed this conference. We were able to hear Brandon Mull and Brandon Sanderson.
