Rereading fic... - Celandine's Chronicle
http://celandineb.livejournal.com/1294279.html
I'm rereading various of my own (and cowritten) old fics, more or less at random. It's rather weird. I don't remember what happens in many of them, so it's almost like reading someone else's stuff, except that the style does still feel familiar. However it's getting on for midnight and I had a pretty busy day (laundry, grocery shopping, lots of cooking) so probably I ought to go to bed now. *yawns*. 14th-Jul-2015 02:26 am (UTC). I feel the same way when I re-read old stuff. It's like, "I wrote that?

Conference paper... - Celandine's Chronicle

So I'm working on this conference paper proposal (and many thanks to. For handholding and good suggestions for improvement! On teaching medieval texts by using fanfiction, in the course of which I am assembling a tentative bibliography because that's what I do. I think that 60 items in this bibliography is probably excessive, though. 9th-Jul-2015 11:42 pm (UTC). I would say not. Are you going to share the final paper with us? It sounds positively awesome. 9th-Jul-2015 11:52 pm (UTC). Cels Fic Haven on LJ.

Stregoneria: November 2006

They will see us waving from such great heights. 'Come down now,' they'll say. But everything looks perfect from far away. 'Come down now,' but we'll stay.". Thursday, November 30, 2006. Mary Oliver has a new book of poetry, Thirst. There were poems that made me hold my breath in awe of their loveliness. But, methinks that many of us, who love Oliver for her seemingly paganistic love of the earth, may be disturbed because, in the wake of the death of her life-partner, Oliver mentions Jesus. Vacation! - Celandine's Chronicle
http://celandineb.livejournal.com/1294769.html
I'm off on vacation today - a week in Montreal, then a week in Maine. Not taking the laptop so probably won't check even my personal email much if at all. I am taking the proffered drabble prompts, though, so there might be some longhand writing. See you all on the flip side. 24th-Jul-2015 02:35 pm (UTC). Sounds like you deserve a vacation! 24th-Jul-2015 04:36 pm (UTC). I love Montreal, and Maine should be beautiful. Enjoy a well-deserved break! 24th-Jul-2015 05:11 pm (UTC). Have a fabulous time, lovely!

A few little pieces... - Celandine's Chronicle
http://celandineb.livejournal.com/1292929.html
A few little pieces. About done with a chapter of the historical HP fic, but I've written a few other bits in the last week or two as well; 3 ficlets, a drabble, and a thousand-word short. :). Doin' it again... - Celandine's Chronicle
http://celandineb.livejournal.com/1293499.html
Another drabble/ficlet offer, because yeah. I like writing for people. Pick a fandom, a pairing (or a character or two), and give me a one- to three-word prompt. My muse has been pretty cooperative lately, so I'll say any fandom you know I've written before is probably fair game. *g*. 8th-Jul-2015 07:52 pm (UTC). Prompt: "You're not dying.". Can you tell I'm training for a New Mexico hiking trip at the end of this month? 9th-Jul-2015 05:24 pm (UTC). 8th-Jul-2015 11:08 pm (UTC). Re: Doin it again. Finding...

Busy... - Celandine's Chronicle
http://celandineb.livejournal.com/1294449.html
I'm finding it difficult to manage time to work on the longer fics ATM, there being other things in RL that need doing, but I fear if I don't write something. The muse will take off again. So, prompt me for drabbles/ficlets? Usual stuff: fandom (any that I've previously written), character(s) or pairing, 1 to 3 words as prompt. 16th-Jul-2015 03:16 am (UTC). HP: Hermione, Flourish and Blotts. Austen: Brandon, spices. 14th-Aug-2015 03:21 pm (UTC). HP drabble done: Book Love. 26th-Aug-2015 09:59 pm (UTC).
