Tuesday, July 10, 2007. Today I picked up a package from the post office! Don't you just love getting parcels. I ordered a bunch of vegan items from Cosmo's Vegan Shoppe. It was so exciting to open and see all my goodies! Being a vegan is very hard work (constantly reading labels and explaining that you DO get enough protein). So I decided. Thursday, July 05, 2007. It is so, so hot outside these days! As soon as I leave the house I can feel my skin getting all sticky with sweat. Yuck. I like cold weather, when I can wrap myself in a blanket to get warm. It's so much harder to cool off than get warmer. I think there were maybe about 10 people from the entire building that went outside! I took Gizmo for a walk and then we heard the fire trucks coming. They told us it was a false alarm and then Gizzy. The last time it went off was at 12:30am!

Wednesday, July 11, 2007. Art Challenge: Number Two. For the second challenge, I invented as I went along. Feel free to do the same by doing your own thing with it. Print out a photo on regular paper in black and white. I printed mine at 8"x10". Then trim off excess white around the image. Cut image in to squares. I did mine 1"x1", but you can choose whatever size you like. Draw the lines from the missing squares in. Don't focus on detail, just the general outline of objects. View my complete profile.

Wednesday, July 11, 2007. Gizmo is not enjoying the weather. He is soo. Lazy, and to cool him off Jarod. And I have started to give him ice cubes to play with. He seems to love them. It is 11:11pm, I am simply sitting at my computer, with TWO fans blowing, and I have sweat dripping down my face. It is TOO hot. Record temperatures today in Vancouver. Yuck. My car almost died on me again driving. Home from work in the scorching heat. A new car might be in the works (Money, money, money). Keri- The Wish Jar.
