Saturday, January 16, 2010. I feel like we're at a wonderful place within our little family of four, plus two wiener dogs. Matt's job is going well. I'm getting back to my favorite hobbies. The kids are healthy, sleeping well, and as always, very giggly and full of surprises. What more could I ask for? Here have been some of my most favorite things as of lately:. He had a great check-up, weighs 33.4 pounds, and grew three inches in the last year. Here's my boy trying hard to sing with bubblegum in his mouth:. Sew, Mama, Sew.

The Smiths: April 2010
http://emilyandmattsmith.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Heidi's birthday was yesterday.can it be? It has been a fun and wonderful year. Here are the little things about Heidi at a year that I want to remember:. She has six teeth, two on the bottom and four up top. Her favorite foods are blueberries, broccoli, and crackers. She'll tolerate most other things but her appetite definitely depends on her mood. Some days she'll like a certain food, but will throw it on the floor the next day. She's learned to wave, give high five, and clap.

The Smiths: Chickens
http://emilyandmattsmith.blogspot.com/2011/03/chickens.html
Tuesday, March 22, 2011. I love this photo. Heidi decided to blow bubble for the chicks. This was after she tried to feed them dandelions. The final coop minus paint. We're still deciding how we want to paint it. It has been so much fun for the kids and Tobin is doing great with helping us take care of the chicks. We have had all of our playgroup friends over to share this experience with us and I know we will all have sweet memories of this adventure! Posted by Matt, Emily, Tobin, and Heidi.

The Smiths: February 2010
http://emilyandmattsmith.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 25, 2010. Our doctor explained that after the six month mark, genetics kick in and the baby's size starts to be determined by genes instead of nutrition. Heidi was slightly anemic and I was told that a vitamin supplement would fix that. Other than that, no problems for this little girl! Here's some wonderful things about Heidi at nine months:. Heidi and her pillow. She still doesn't care much for baby food but if I put pieces of bread, carrots, avocado, peas, cheerios or any other tabl...
