http://njepicurean.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 11, 2011. Delicious Madrid on a Budget! I have been on hiatus for a while and really have missed checking out my favorite blogs! I miss you all! Since I have been gone, our house went under contract and we are scheduled to close on our next home at the end of next month. I need to pack up the whole house - what a daunting task! I really wish that it was in the budget to hire movers to pack for us - oh well it will get done somehow! We settled into our hotel - Suites 33 on Calle de Legani...

Monday, March 28, 2011. Eat Live. Be. and Please Forgive My Absence. A quick note on where I've been: Unfortunately I wasn't away somewhere fun for spring break! On a more cheerful note, I did have my daughters home over the last couple of weeks - which I loved! Despite my busy work schedule and all of the medical appointments, we did take a whole day off together to shop and of course eat! I miss them both already. This week's Eat. Live. Be. topic is Go-To Lunches. The chicken is marinated in white bals...

NJ Epicurean: Kohlrabi, Fennel and Blueberry Salad
http://njepicurean.blogspot.com/2011/07/kohlrabi-fennel-and-blueberry-salad.html
Saturday, July 2, 2011. Kohlrabi, Fennel and Blueberry Salad. One of this week's CSA box items was kohlrabi. What to do with kohlrabi? Well I started hunting around for some interesting use for it and turned to the ever reliable Food and Wine ingredient search. The search brought me to Top Chef Stephanie Izard of Chicago's Girl and The Goat's Kohlrabi, Fennel and Blueberry Salad. All I needed was the fennel and some goat cheese. So many ingredients - could this possibly work and actually taste good?

NJ Epicurean: November 2010
http://njepicurean.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 24, 2010. The Last CSA Box of the Season. Well, I made radishes every which way and learned to really like them! Radish greens are fantastic by the way! You also have to know that you can't rely on the box for all of your vegetable needs. You have to supplement from other sources. I wish that salad greens were available for more weeks and I also wished for more fresh herbs. Those were the items that I purchased regularly during the season. What was in the boxes? Posted by Jen from NJ.

Sunday, August 30, 2009. Me enjoying blueberry picking). It has been forever since I last posted - shameful, I know. Life has been extremely busy, but I'm hoping to add more posts and recipes on a regular basis from this point on. They also have fantastic preserves and pies. This year, Norris and I picked about 14 pounds of blueberries. I used the berries to make jam and a series of muffins. Not only did we eat TONS of them, but blueberries freeze VERY well. Gluten Free Jersey Girl: August 2011
http://glutenfreejerseygirl.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Gluten Free Jersey Girl. A blog about health, nutrition, and gluten free living at the Jersey Shore. Sunday, August 28, 2011. After the stress of being couped up because of Hurricane Irene this weekend, I was in the mood for some good ole' fashioned comfort food today. Nothing says comfort food like a big tray of lasagna, right? Well, when I stumbled upon this recipe for zucchini lasagna from the Wellness Mama. S blog, I was super excited and could not wait to try it! 1 lb ground beef (organic, grass-fed).
