Up With The Birds. Some days I just have anxiety. I start thinking about the past, present, and future, then blow things out of proportion. Things like past mistakes, what I'm doing with my life, etc. Well today was one of those days. I could not rid myself of the knots in my stomach. Thus, I decided to go for a drive up the canyon. Windows down, music blaring, hoping to clear my head. As I drove up the winding road towards Sundance a voice popped into my head. It struck me because it came out of nowhere.

Up With The Birds. Uhhhh, love this. Something about the snow makes me nostalgic. Its gentle, still fall is peaceful yet melancholy. It causes me to turn down my speakers and listen to the silence. As I watch it descend I can't help but think of the things I left behind. While I long for it to be different the next time around,. I still reminisce about how things used to be. They say history repeats itself. Lets hope not this time. For now, these lyrics provide a source of comfort.
