View my complete profile. Tuesday, May 27, 2014. I have very few words, yet too many to describe how perfect of an evening I experienced with Lillian. My Lillian has always been a special little girl. Her emotions, loves, and dislikes are usually to the extremes. On this night I saw my girl's heart sing out and almost completely burst with pure joy, excitement, wonder, and the most happiness that a 5 year old can exude. Well I showed her a couple Youtube videos and she was hooked. I'm sure the girls at t...

Living among the books: November 2010
http://livingamongthebooks.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Living among the books. Monday, November 8, 2010. This post is way overdue. Since school has started I have not had the time to just sit and type an entry. I know that many of you are waiting on a new read, or at least I hope you are still reading this. Now that the first nine weeks has passed by, I have found that I have been teaching one year already. My Anniversary date was October 26th. Can you believe that one year has passed already since I posted that I was hired as a teacher? Links to this post.

We all gathered at my parents and my grandparents and our friend from the library came out and we had a little celebration with BBQ ribs and all the fixings for lunch and then a mini fire and hot dogs and goodies in the evening as we watched the fireworks from our own back yard! And it's Free parking! Yay for Matt, and Yay for you for getting all organized!

With the first child when he turned four I might as well handed him the car keys. I thought he was huge and old enough to take care of himself (that was partially true since I was taking care of two other babies at the time). With Cora though…. I'm trying so hard to keep her little, but it's just not happening. I can only assume she's singing "Let it go" in this photo.

View my complete profile. Tuesday, September 23, 2014. Preschool for the little one. Can you see how excited she was? Oh yeah. This girl had been waiting for the day. She hopped in the school like it was her business and has never looked back one day since. Of course, I have to say one more time how much I love Ms. Dawn! Having a teacher that is so amazing and caring makes everything so much easier. Cora loves kissing her daddy! I'd say he gets at least. 10 kisses from her everyday. Lil: Do NOT walk me t...

Living among the books: October 2009
http://livingamongthebooks.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Living among the books. Saturday, October 17, 2009. I know, it's been a long time since the last update. There has been so much happening since the last post, I can't remember all of it. First off, My grandparents went to Illinois for two weeks and had a wonderful time with their friends. Grandpa went fishing a lot and brought home lots of white bass and of course we had a fish fry then and it was yummy. Matt was in love with everything that day, because Lincoln is his roll model. (warning: rant ahead) Even though I don't feel we are any further in our location, our services are much more rural. There isn't any cable ran out here so it took us a bit to figure out what we were going to do. It was funny for the two. Weeks without how diconnected I felt and how many more people I actually talked to and interacted with.
