Friday, January 28, 2011. Katelyn and I just returned from a 10-day trip to Utah. We had a great time visiting, but we missed Dad and home a lot. I didn't take nearly as many pictures as I wanted to/should have, but here are some. We flew out to Utah with Aunt Erin and Grandma F, because Aunt Erin entered the Missionary Training Center (MTC) on January 19th. We are so proud of her and her wonderful example. Friday, December 17, 2010. Katelyn has been obsessed with the letter "O" for quite some time. She finds o's everywhere. I was a proud mom knowing that she has at least one letter down. Yesterday I came home from a night out with some terrific friends and Jason told me Katelyn had pointed out the "O" and "U" on his sweatshirt. I was impressed, because I didn't know that she knew a second letter. She pointed to the P right as I was about to say, "She doesn't know that letter." It continued as follows:.

Friday, August 19, 2011. Earlier this week Andrew lost his cord and got his first real bath. He was not particularly pleased at first. But calmed down after a while. He reverted back to his initial state of panic if we weren't holding hands. That made bathing him a bit more tricky. Katelyn loves her brother, and she likes to help take care of him. She was excited to help with the bath, and I let her be the official photographer for a while. Here are samples of her work. :). I sure love these cute kids!

Tuesday, December 13, 2011. It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year. We went to Nauvoo, IL for Thanksgiving and once Thanksgiving dinner was done, it was free range on Christmas music. Of course Katelyn was willing to oblige with her rendition of Jingle Bells. We're not sure why/how she got the "super-sleigh," but she's sure a cutie! December 14, 2011 at 9:24 AM. After the Sig, we switched out for a Colt .380, and that was slightly smaller than the Sig. It felt a little better and the clip was easier to load. Well, after about six weeks of house hunting it looks like we're nearing the end of that journey. We found a house that we loved, and we offered, went back and forth with terms and needed repairs, etc., and now we could be closing on it at the end of next week! Friday, November 4, 2011. The boys were way too excited for Halloween this year. They were counting down the days all month long. I think they were most excited to wear their costumes, but they were also looking forward to trick-or-treating and eating candy. Our festivities began with Ethan's costume parade at school. It was fun to see all of the cute costumes, and Ethan was so excited to see us there that he was beaming. I let Spencer wear his costume to the parade since he was so excited to be a pumpkin.
