http://thehesshousehold.blogspot.com/2010/11/scuba.html
Hangin' with the Hess'. Monday, November 1, 2010. Last month for our 2 year anniversary we gifted to each other scuba certification class. It was quite the process: 1 day class room, 2 days training in pool, 2 days training in open water but the certification is for life! We felt quite the accomplishment when it was all said and done. It definitely takes some getting used to breathing underwater but our instructor made us feel so comfortable and safe. How cute do I look in my wetsuit? For not only gettin...

Hangin' with the Hess': March 2010
http://thehesshousehold.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Hangin' with the Hess'. Tuesday, March 30, 2010. I love Squash but I was getting tiresome of the basic green and yellow squash so I wanted to try something new. Acorn Squash - my new favorite side! It's SO yummy, just melts in your mouth! This veggie may look hard to cook but it's quite simple! Here is what they look like at the store. Reminds me of a Thanksgiving decoration! Cut the squash in half, scoop out the seeds and put them face down on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min or until soft.

Instead of waiting around for them to ripen I thought I would give Fried Green Tomatoes a try! A little flower, egg and bread crumbs. Then they were ready to pan fry! Fun little snack which we dipped in ranch! They were yummy but want to try pickles next time for some zing! Jeremy and Allison Hess. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Santa Claus is Coming to Town!

Hangin' with the Hess': May 2010
http://thehesshousehold.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Hangin' with the Hess'. Friday, May 14, 2010. Fishing with Grandpa Ray. This past Saturday we headed out East to the small town of Paden, OK for Jeremy's cousins graduation picnic, fishing and some good R&R by the campfire. Grandpa Ray and Jeremy's Uncle both live in this small town where there are no street lights to be found, just stop signs! Grandpa helping me get hook ready. Paul caught the biggest fish of the day - 2.5 lbs Bass. Got a kick out of this small town artwork! We are so proud of you!
