Anyways, I had a training in Portland with AmeriCorps. We had a good time during the night though. We (us Utahn VISTAs) went to a rose garden that was beautiful! We also walked downtown and went to an expensive place for dessert ($8 for a piece of cake! I decided I want something like this at my reception when I get married. Very cute. Monday, December 9, 2013. I love Thanksgiving, and not JUST for the food aspect (though, that is a big factor). This year, in conjunction with Whitni, I was in charge of pies, turkey, cranberry sauce, and stuffing. It all turned out pretty delish! This year, the Hoyts "Thankful Tree" included things like "temples," "Jesus," "family," and "gratitude" (yep, Emery's grateful for gratitude).
