Sunday, March 29, 2009. The Reedy River Run. A couple of weeks ago our family went to Greenville to participate in the Reedy River Run (5K). Kevin and I did the 5K and Kate Elizabeth and Will participated in the Kids Fun Run. We had such a great time! Some friends of ours, Kristen and Trevor Jones, also participated and their son David ran the Fun Run as well. What a sweet hubby! I just love him! Kate Elizabeth and Will did an awesome job at their run! Daddy running with Will and Kate Elizabeth. He.

The Cannons' Ball: December 2009
http://thecannonsball.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 31, 2009. We had a nice Christmas, and we stayed pretty busy for the past week, but I have some pictures I would like to share, and I'll try to re-cap our week the best I can. We picked up Katie C.'s Chinese sister, Wen, on the night of the 23rd so that she could spend the holidays with the Cannons. Christmas Eve morning, we had a nice brunch with everyone and Wen went home to Spartanburg. The stockings are hung by the chimney with care! It was so neat. We started in downtown Green...

The Cannons' Ball: Winter Blast January '10
http://thecannonsball.blogspot.com/2010/01/winter-blast-january-10.html
Sunday, January 31, 2010. Winter Blast January '10. Too bad I don't own a pair of ice skates! Our parking area would make a nice rink. Edy and her shadow. Note how her paws aren't sinking into the "snow" since it's a crust of ice. Neither do my polka dot galoshes! January 31, 2010 at 6:20 PM. Dixie enjoyed the snow too! We spent most of our time watching movies, a little walking in it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Keeping our family and friends in the loop. Arenal Volcano, Costa Rica.

The Chavis Family: November 2011

Shawn and Rene's life in Cayce. Monday, November 14, 2011. Since Georgia's birthday we have had lots of growth developmentally. She also had the first Halloween that she actually enjoyed. Last year she slept most of the time. Here is Georgia spending time with her daddy. Perfecting her standing while clapping. Playing in Shawn's work boots. She loves to point and then touch fingers with someone. It looks the "The Creation" by Michelangelo. She also loves to play with noses. She loves to take our her books.

Shawn and Rene's life in Cayce. Tuesday, December 27, 2011. End of the Year. I am finally going to get this posted! The pictures have been uploaded since two days after Christmas. I've just been busy and tired. Before Christmas I got pictures of Georgia doing several different things, like eating, playing, and getting into lots of stuff! And the only person they could convince to play Santa was a teenager. It was so funny. He was wearing flip flops! Here is Georgia eating broccoli. She loves it! Our sad ...

The Chavis Family: Brithday Party
http://chavisngunter.blogspot.com/2011/10/brithday-party.html
Shawn and Rene's life in Cayce. Friday, October 14, 2011. After we opened gifts came the cake and ice cream. We knew from prior experience that she wasn't a big fan of ice cream (I think it's too cold for her). So after we blew out the candle she got a piece of cake. At first Shawn fed some to her. They she tried to feed herself a little. Then she just played with it. Before everyone got to the party we took a picture of Georgia. She is on top of the mat we put under her high chair. Daddy is feeding her.

Shawn and Rene's life in Cayce. Friday, March 25, 2011. Next week Georgia will be 6 months old. It is hard to believe that she is already that old! Sometimes she refuses to eat bananas, but that comes and goes. She also dislikes peaches. But, when you give her food she really likes she can get very impatient and want you to feed her faster. So, while I thought she was doing pretty well around strangers, I suppose I was wrong. This was Georgia's birthday wish for me. This is my dad with the two of them.

The Chavis Family: May 2011
http://chavisngunter.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Shawn and Rene's life in Cayce. Tuesday, May 10, 2011. This weekend was super busy. I had two baby showers and a graduation party to attend. Then Sunday, for Mother's day, we had Georgia's infant dedication service at church. Afterward we went to Ruby Tuesday's to eat with my mom, Shawn's parents and his sister and two of her kids, plus our friends George and Shanna. When I put her in the high chair to give her the cereal she fell asleep in the seat. This is Georgia sleeping in her high chair Friday night.
