Professional Experience – emilyanneeldridge

https://emilyanneeldridge.wordpress.com/2015/06/10/professional-experience

June 10, 2015. After three weeks with year 2’s I am amazed that I am still almost standing… It was tiring but it was so rewarding. I was really nervous before I started because having a year 2 class before I knew how exhausting if can be with a younger age group, as well as having assignments to complete while I would be on my placement. I really look forward to going back again next semester for my next placement. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Address never made public).

My first lesson using ICTS – emilyanneeldridge

https://emilyanneeldridge.wordpress.com/2015/06/14/professional-experience-week-1-reflection

June 14, 2015. June 14, 2015. My first lesson using ICTS. I believe that the way I used ICT in this lesson would fit within the Substitution and Augmentation levels of the SAMR model, much like that of Saranna. 8216;s first lesson reflection. Lets hope that the other lessons that I have to teach only get better and easier from here. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Frameworks, Theories and Models – emilyanneeldridge

https://emilyanneeldridge.wordpress.com/2015/06/14/frameworks-theories-and-models

June 14, 2015. Frameworks, Theories and Models. Has uploaded a great post that is a friendly reminder of the tools I can draw upon to create ICT-rich learning experiences. I don’t think that I can do a list any better than that. and it helped me to remember that each of the acronyms stood for, to remember and use them in the last assignment. S o thanks Saranna. https://laureenatodd.wordpress.com/page/2

Laureena's EDC3100 Blog. Swimming through the sea of ICTs with a baby on my knee! One of the books in the week 5 learning path briefly discusses the way many schools have chosen to adopt technology use throughout the whole school. When new technology emerges, or schools catch wind of how a technology can be used, school management teams are often swayed into adopting that particular technology and set about implementing it school-wide without actually ‘trying before buying’! Miss Taylor and the Incredibly Clever Terminators. A personal insight into the world of ICT in the classroom. Oh me oh maths. May 12, 2015. Maths is one of those subjects that I never really got along with at school. I wasn’t completely hopeless but it just never seemed to click like everything else did. To this day I don’t enjoy it nor do I have good memories of it. This year one of the families I nanny for moved schools and as part of their maths and homework program they use a program called Mathletics.

Thankfully (or hopefully) I am almost finished assignment 2 and will be ready to submit it later tonight (before 11:55pm! Miss Taylor and the Incredibly Clever Terminators. A personal insight into the world of ICT in the classroom. Monthly Archives: March 2015. Reflecting on module 1. March 27, 2015. Now that Assignment 1 is submitted, I feel it necessary to provide a quick summary and reflect on what I have learnt in EDC3100 in the first month of my third year of University. I have a total love/hate relationship with technology. I think it has the complete potential to turn us into anti-social yuppies. View all 2 comments.

Miss Taylor and the Incredibly Clever Terminators. A personal insight into the world of ICT in the classroom. It’s all about timing. May 28, 2015. Timing for me has been one of the trickiest parts of prac so far. I tend to lose track of how long I have been running the lesson. Perhaps I need to follow my lesson plan more closely. Thinking about teaching strategies, it is of interest to me how collaborative learning is so valued and how often it is mentioned in my courses as an important learning tool for learning. Miss Taylor and the Incredibly Clever Terminators. A personal insight into the world of ICT in the classroom. May 12, 2015. Having finished the week 11 learning path, which gave some insight into the use of interactive whiteboards, I realised that I may be a bit behind on understanding how it all works. I was able to use it briefly on my last prac but not nearly to the extent I could have. Is the QCAA page that links to the Early Years Curriculum Guidelines, and this.
