Thoughts of a Listener. Sunday, February 24, 2013. Did I mention that I love the zoo? I love the zoo. I love aquariums, zoos, wilderness parks, all of it. Wildlife fascinates me, and the more I learn the more I am pointed towards aspects of God's character including creativity, humor, and intricacy. New lions this year to add to the pride. Even though these aren't hinds, I love watching them. Because they always remind me of my all time favorite book,. Hinds' Feet on High Places. Nursing after a long nap.

Thoughts of a Listener. Sunday, March 11, 2012. Pictures From A Run. The composer Mussorgsky wrote a beautiful beautiful piece of music called Pictures at an Exhibition. Maybe you're getting tired of seeing these trees, but I never will. They are so beautiful and so fleeting. Spring flowers. They were really pretty in person, but this picture makes them look a little sparse. Maybe I should have edited. The purple ones are my favorite. I fully intend to have one outside of my kitchen window some day.

Sunday, June 10, 2012. At 9 months, Joel. Weighs 19 lbs 7 oz and measures 28 1/2 inches long. A few signs he's growing: he is definitely getting heavier to carry in the infant carseat; he stretches from end to end in his cradle bed; and no longer fits in between the arms of the rocking chair so we sit on a diagonal. Is more aware and searches 'til he finds his Susa (sister). When she walks into the room or rides past him on her bike, he squeals with delight and smiles wide. Shows much excitement for food!

Friday, July 31, 2009. Bryan and I thought that we would take Annabelle on one last trip with "Just the 3 of Us" before little brother makes his appearance. I had heard that Sea World was so much fun for kids her age, so we loaded up the car and headed to San Antonio! Thank you so much for taking me to Sea World! Bryan and I just laughed and explained that this is just where we are sleeping, and we were on our way to Sea World after unloading the car. Being pregnant and hot is not a pleasant feeling!
