Nunca podría andar sola...: September 2011
http://icouldneverwalkalone.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Nunca podría andar sola. Monday, September 26, 2011. You know that book Alexander and the Terrible Horrible No-Good Very Bad Day? It stars out " I went to bed with gum in my mouth, and now there's gum in my hair.". Well, I've been having that kind of day. For two days. Into town for my day off and I spent 3 hours trying to cash a check (it's a long story). Tired Worn out. Frustrated. A Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day to be sure. Today I ate breakfast. Today I got 3 hugs before 6 am. So I guess ...

Nunca podría andar sola...: January 2012
http://icouldneverwalkalone.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Nunca podría andar sola. Tuesday, January 17, 2012. I've been home for a month now. A MONTH! I can't believe it's been a month since I said goodbye to my "hermanitos" and headed home to the land of dairy and frozen tundra. The return has been a little difficult. Some things I have experienced are:. 1) wanting to speak in Spanish when no-body else does. 2) breaking into tears when I'm driving in my car. 3) crying in coffee shops. 4) the desire to hear/read Spanish. In all he does. And let's apply that to ...

Nunca podría andar sola...: Life in the Puddle
http://icouldneverwalkalone.blogspot.com/2012/07/life-in-puddle.html
Nunca podría andar sola. Tuesday, July 17, 2012. Life in the Puddle. Tonight I rode my bike to the YMCA to work out. It's like double the workout if you do that. Not a good idea. On the way home it rained. Hard. It hasn't rained in like two weeks and the sky decides to open up the ONE time I've ridden my bike to the Y this whole summer! Needless to say, I arrive home in a big wet puddle. My backpack was wet, my helmet was dripping and I had to peel my clothes off of me. I was one big messy puddle. I am l...

Nunca podría andar sola...: thirteen.one
http://icouldneverwalkalone.blogspot.com/2012/06/thirteenone.html
Nunca podría andar sola. Tuesday, June 12, 2012. Well, at least I used to. Running used to be a punishment for me - pushing my legs and lungs to the breaking point. Always being the last person to complete the soccer training runs. No thank you. I hated running in groups because I was so slow, but running alone was worse. Being miserable AND alone.definition of a bad day. God as a Running Partner. And God always showed up for my runs. Best running partner EVER. Fast-forward about 6 months. One again God ...

Nunca podría andar sola...: August 2011
http://icouldneverwalkalone.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Nunca podría andar sola. Tuesday, August 30, 2011. I always wanted a little sibling. Mostly I wanted a little brother, but I would have settle for a little sister too. My parents on the other hand (as wise as they are) decided that two girls would probably be enough to keep them on their toes.they were right. But 20-some years later, God has answered my prayers in a BIG WAY. I am the official, un-official big sister of 12 "siblings". It's a fun job. Most of the time. Allow me to share some highlights.

Nunca podría andar sola...: Permanence
http://icouldneverwalkalone.blogspot.com/2012/07/permanence.html
Nunca podría andar sola. Sunday, July 8, 2012. El Olam: The Everlasting God/The Eternal God. At first this seemed like a "duh" name for me. Of course I know that God is everlasting and eternal, it's one of the key points of Christianity. God has no beginning and no end. God's plans stand firm forever. God's love endures forever. He is the everlasting and eternal God. This I knew. God promises us salvation. Permanence. God promises us that we are heirs. Permanence. Our testimonies are permanent. Awhile ba...

Nunca podría andar sola...: December 2011
http://icouldneverwalkalone.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Nunca podría andar sola. Saturday, December 3, 2011. Culture Part 3: The People. I love the people of Honduras! For the most part, they are good people who work hard and who always have time to talk. Hondurans also have a knack for making me feel welcome, not laughing at my Spanish, and sharing their lives. Once Noe and I went to get baleadas (tortillas with beans, eggs, and avocado.yum) and ended up talking almost 20 minutes with the woman who was making them. I guess I'll have to come back soon! Police...

Nunca podría andar sola...: Me, Myself, and I
http://icouldneverwalkalone.blogspot.com/2012/06/me-myself-and-i.html
Nunca podría andar sola. Wednesday, June 27, 2012. Me, Myself, and I. After two weeks of being back in the US, I went to my pastor at church and asked him what I could do. His response: "NOTHING". I was shocked. I had spent two years as a missionary, surely there could be a place that I could help out: Sunday School, Youth Group, Women's Ministry. I needed to be needed. I found my worth in being "there" for people, resolving problems, cooking meals, and answering questions. Fast forward to June. So I've ...
