Emily Clarke Studio: Inspiration Monday: Anu Samarüütel
http://emilyclarke.blogspot.com/2012/09/inspiration-monday-anu-samaruutel.html
Monday, September 10, 2012. Inspiration Monday: Anu Samarüütel. I came across Anu Samaruutel's work on I Love Illustration. A blog that focuses on fashion illustrators. Samaruutel's work, painted in acrylic on paper, is so bold and bright and unique. I simply love looking at them. Wouldn't you love to have a huge painting like this on your wall? Emily Clarke Studio: Painting on the Town
http://emilyclarke.blogspot.com/2012/10/painting-on-town.html
Thursday, October 4, 2012. Painting on the Town. I mentioned on Tuesday that I would be painting live at the VIP night for Fashion on the Town at The Lazy Goat here in Greenville. Fashion on the Town continues today and tomorrow, and the VIP event was a pretty big affair. Above is the piece I painted during the event. I am pretty happy with the outcome. It captured the energy of the night, and is very much an Emily piece. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Get free paper dolls in my Monthly newsletter!
Emily Clarke Studio: Behind a Mask
http://emilyclarke.blogspot.com/2012/09/behind-mask.html
Friday, September 7, 2012. Oil and Acrylic on wood. This is another piece in what I am calling my Masquerade series. I love the black and white dresses, and the mask adds even more to the anonymity. You don't see the girl at all. All you see is her dress and her mask. She could be anyone at all. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). With the painting's title in the subject line, and I will send you my payment instructions. Thanks for visiting my blog, and check back often! Subscribe to our newsletter.

Emily Clarke Studio: September 2012

Tuesday, September 18, 2012. Art in the Park is coming! This weekend on Main St. in downtown Greenville! Friday, September 14, 2012. Fun and Flirty (and 800). Watercolor and ink on cardstock. I found a photo of this dress in a book recently, and fell in love with it. It is from the 1920's, and seems to have an elegance, combined with the fun loving flapper attitude. I imagine this little gal is going to a fancy party that will dissolve into a bit of mischief as the evening wears on. I have had Nana's box...

Oil and Rouge: A Vintage Affair. I can do it! Being Seventeen →. January 18, 2010 · 6:53 pm. I feel like I have been posting a lot of vintage posters recently, but I just love them! Making a poster now is no big deal. We just get on the computer, arrange a few things, and suddenly it’s done (I am not complaining about that, especially when I need a poster for one of my events! Soon, but in the meantime, check out a few of my favorite vintage movie posters I have recently come across. I can do it! Lulu...

I dreamed a dream of Dr. Crusher | Green Celluloid
https://greencelluloid.wordpress.com/2010/07/23/i-dreamed-a-dream-of-dr-crusher
INT REBECCA'S BRAIN. DAY. I dreamed a dream of Dr. Crusher. So I was extremely excited when I saw more and more TNG actors pop up on the Dragon Con guest list. Unfortunately, Ms. McFadden has still not shown up on that list yet. I’d like to ask her what her problem is. Incidentally, a different dream I had a long time ago involved Tim Burton telling me the secret of life while his body guard Tom Cruise stood watch in an abandoned warehouse. Mr. Burton never wrote me back either. July 23, 2010. I just saw...

Oil and Rouge: A Vintage Affair. What will they think about us? March 10, 2010 · 1:33 pm. I am sure you have noticed that I have not posted anything in quite a while.
